Monday Update May 13, 2024

This coming Sunday is Pentecost so wear brightly colored clothes (red, orange, yellow, fire colors) as we celebrate the birth of the New Testament church!

Our DUO (Do Unto Others) for May is Pace Center for Girls.  Pace Center for Girls has served over 2,000 girls throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa counties through our three distinct components: Academic, Social Services and Transition Services. You can go to their website, https://www.pacecenter.org, where you can volunteer or donate online.

The  Mission will be hosting the Annual Police Officers’ Memorial Service tomorrow (May 14th)in our Sanctuary, followed by a Breakfast Reception in the Parish Hall.  If you’re interested in helping out, contact Anne Sessions or Stephen Smithee. 

Our next Friends and Family Sunday is scheduled for July 21st.  We will offer an Instructed Liturgy and a Potluck Lunch. Plan now to invite friends, family neighbors, and co-workers! 

New to The Mission? We are offering a three-week newcomer's class, "Exploring The Mission", May 19, 26, June 2 at 9:30 AM. Steve+ and Rick will be gone this Sunday, so the Adult Sunday School Class (Judges) will join the “Exploring the Mission” class in the Parish Hall for Lesson One, “ Anglican History and the English Reformation”. This class will be taught by Father Ron.
